Brilliant weekend of racing and a lot of hard work in between!

Testing on Friday was a great way to get grips with the track, which proved a challenging track to learn with amazingly long straights and a lot of tight and tricky corners. The first two sessions helped me get to know the track, and sessions three and four were planned for pushing myself and my Leastone 1000.

Unfortunately, during the 3rd session I pushed a little too far leaving a lot of hard work for my team on Friday night to be 100% for qualifying on Saturday morning, at thi...

Castle Combe Circuit - we will definitely remember this track for all time to come...the place where I got my 1st win!

Getting to know the track in testing on Thursday was unusual, but there definitely was lots to learn.  The distance on the track was 3km, fast paced, with some great chicanes. Throughout the 4 testing sessions we steadily progressed quicker and quicker as I gained confidence. Having 4x15 minute testing sessions was definitely better than the 2 half hour session format we usually see, as I got an opportunity to get out and debri...

What a weekend racing! We arrived for testing on Friday, it was wet weather for the morning testing and wasn't ideal for learning the track as it was my first time there. The afternoon was a lot dryer, and it was great to be able to put the car through its paces in the first session. Oulton is a very quick and technical track with a lot of learning about it!  The second afternoon session was hampered by a few red flag incidents so we didn't get much seat time in the dry overall.

Testing is for testing as the boss says so we weren’t too...

2018 Finol Star of Tomorrow Champion Max Hart has committed to the 2019 UK Monoposto Championship with the Leastone Racing Team. The 17-year-old Baltinglass native will hope to challenge for MonoMoto 1000 championship honours across the 14 round calendar, which will be held over 6 weekends.

Hart sealed the 2018 Finol Star of Tomorrow championship with 10 class podiums, including 7 class wins before taking the reins of the Leastone 1000 in Brands Hatch for 2 rounds of the Monoposto Tiedeman Trophy in October, finishing 4th and 2nd over the course...

The Leastone duo of Mark Reade and Morgan McCourt followed up their strong opening weekend of the Monoposto championship with another solid run of results at the Snetterton 300 circuit last weekend (12/13th May). The event saw a number of celebrations to mark Monoposto’s 60th Anniversary season, with many past champions and their machines in attendance. The pair entered qualifying for the triple header event off the back of a productive days testing on Friday, and putting that knowledge to use, Reade placed himself 5th in class with Morgan slot...

The Leastone team travel to Donington Park this weekend to kick off their 2018 Monoposto championship assault, marking their second full time campaign across the water. 2017 MonoMoto champion Mark Reade returns for his second year in the UK, looking to defend the crown that he secured in his debut Monoposto season last year. Reade will be joined by Morgan McCourt who will tackle the full calendar for the first time, having taken on selected events across the last number of years.

The team have had a busy off season, implementing a number of impr...

Mark Reade and the Leastone Racing Team bolstered their Monoposto championship hopes with a strong performance at Oulton Park last weekend. The Donore native scored a brace of second places at the Cheshire circuit, which was using its full 4.33km International layout, and was joined by Morgan McCourt, who was making his second appearance in the Monoposto championship for 2017.

Both drivers enjoyed a productive days testing on Friday and this set them up for a good qualifying, with Reade securing pole position for his MonoMoto 1000 class for both...
