2018 Finol Star of Tomorrow Champion Max Hart has committed to the 2019 UK Monoposto Championship with the Leastone Racing Team. The 17-year-old Baltinglass native will hope to challenge for MonoMoto 1000 championship honours across the 14 round calendar, which will be held over 6 weekends.

Hart sealed the 2018 Finol Star of Tomorrow championship with 10 class podiums, including 7 class wins before taking the reins of the Leastone 1000 in Brands Hatch for 2 rounds of the Monoposto Tiedeman Trophy in October, finishing 4th and 2nd over the course of the weekend.

‘After a great 2018, it made sense to continue with Leastone in 2019. The Brands Hatch round really opened my eyes both to the performance of the car and the nature of UK tracks! It will be a steep learning curve but I’m really looking forward to getting more seat time in early 2019 and hopefully mount an assault for the MonoMoto 1000 class’ said young Hart

Max will again be supported by Selco Hygiene Supplies, who formed part of his 2018 title winning campaign in Formula Vee.
